Agave Girls Holiday Edition!December 4, 2018

In September of 2006, Joanne Weir started talking about tequila. She was delighted to learn that, like her, many women don't just like tequila, they love it. They savor it with meals; drink it slowly from a snifter; and mix it with seasonal ingredients in experimental cocktails. Fueled by this realization, Weir created Agave Girls to help these like-minded women share their enthusiasm for fine tequila.
Get ready for our next Agave Girls gathering on Tuesday, December 4 - a special holiday celebration! Join the original Agave Girl Joanne Weir, PBS Chef, author of Kitchen Gypsy: Recipes and Stories from a Lifelong Romance with Food and Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites, for an incredible evening of tequila, tasting and fun featuring our wonderful sponsor, Maestro Dobel tequila. Enjoy passed appetizers and a tasting flight of Maestro Dobel's special tequilas followed by a three-course dinner paired with seasonal tequila cocktails.
To add some silly fun, we're making this installment an "ugly poncho" theme and the attendee with the ugliest poncho will be awarded a bottle of tequila and a copy of Joanne's latest cookbook.
